Sunday Shout Out!

I want to give a Shout Out to a member that I am extremely proud of today.  Occasionally, I run across a shopper that has made tremendous progress or has amazed (ok- flattered) me in some way.  This won't become a regular feature, but I am always on the look-out for potential recipients of this bestowed honor. 

Today's Shout Out goes to Ann C.!!!!

Yesterday, our local store was having a 'noon to moon' sale!  Dole Romain lettuce mixes were 2/$1.  On the shelf was a big sign that had coupons for FREE bananas wyb two Dole salads (up to $1.75).  Every person I saw grabbed two bags of salads- no bananas.  Then walked up Ann C. who saw the coupons, got her bananas, and checked out.  WAY TO GO!  Always keeping your eyes open is one of the keys to successful couponing.

On a side note, there were $1/2 Dole Romain salad coupons (store coupons) in last weeks ad that didn't expire until the 31st.  I had already thrown mine away because salad isn't really a stockpile thing and I had just bought some.  This would have made for two FREE bags of salad and FREE bananas!
